⏵ HOSPITAL ⏴ The hospital on Etraya is where new arrivals awaken, and it houses Aurora’s servers. This entry serves to provide all the information on the hospital that has already been discovered! Please note this is not everything about it, just that of which player characters have already unveiled. Every floor above ground seems to be a normal hospital. The basement floor has a computer, which contains a significant amount of information. The computer is no longer accessible, but the previous information is still available below: COMPUTER The computer itself is pretty. . . basic. It's a touch screen with an unlocked desktop, and gaining access is fairly simple. What isn't simple is figuring out how to read it, as it appears that most of the text is in some illegible font similar to Wingdings, but without being able to easily compare what letters are being pressed (since the keyboard at least appears to be in English) to translate what the text itself is saying. However, not everything on the computer is formatted this way. Those who are relatively tech-savvy will be able to access a few folders containing player character data. These folders are listed by the first initial of their first name, their full last name, and a string of numbers and letters after that don't seem to coincide with anything relevant. These files contain their names, height, and weight as of first arrival in Etraya - a basic health profile, built before they woke up. They also contain a summary overview of their personalities, likes, fears, those who are important to them, and those they dislike. There are multiple documents within these folders, but most of them are heavily encrypted. The summary page, while encrypted, is still easy enough for those with computer knowledge to get into. However, these are opt-in. Players must first be alright with characters finding their files, and reading them! Please keep this in mind. Small files are uploaded once monthly, around the same time when new arrivals appear, and a larger chunk of information had been delivered to the PC back on January 1st, coinciding with another arrival that happened on June 1st. These files are heavily encrypted. There have been no outgoing communications from the information hub. Information gets delivered to it, but there currently is no way to retrace where that information came from, nor put out a call in the same direction it came from. While there is a local network, it does not extend outside of the city bubble. The lower levels of the hospital are also no longer accessible, after the Solmara crew incident. However, details are still below: LOWER LEVELS The elevator also goes down - it’s below this where Aurora's servers can be found, and numerous other items. The first several floors below the hospital are relatively empty. The fourth floor is where Aurora has the servers, which contain data on player characters. The fifth floor is filled with miscellaneous buildings that match numerous different universes. The sixth floor appears to be empty most the time. Occasionally, a couple of portals open that allow external materials to arrive into Etraya, but stepping into them does not allow others to exit the city bubble. The eighth floor houses the machinery Aurora uses to build the companion bots. The tenth floor is the lowest a human can go without supplementary oxygen. After the fifteenth floor, the oxygen level cuts off entirely. The one-hundredth floor is where Aurora herself can be found. The room is massive, the walls are white, and the 'flooring', several feet down, is a soft blue liquid. Above and attached to the rooftop are massive structures that appear to be made out of organic and inorganic matter. A steady, rhythmic humming sound can be heard throughout the room, coming from the mass.
