⏵ PLOTTING ⏴

This post is for all plot-related questions!

Things that don't have to be run by mods:
  • A character wants to use an empty space to build something (though you may want to add it to locations!).
  • A character starts a fight with another character.
  • A character does something within the guidelines of a mission that would not affect the entire player base.

  • Things that should be run by the mods:
  • A character kills an important NPC during a mission.
  • A character destroys a portion of the built city.
  • A character wants to do something that will affect the entire player base.

Please come to us with your ideas! Maybe your character wants to recruit a few other characters to try and escape the city, maybe they want to try and interact with Echo directly, or attempt to hack into the system at the hospital. We'll do our best to build plots around your ideas; if you dislike what we throw back at you, please let us know, and we'll offer alternatives when possible.

Game plots are meant to be interesting for players and make playing in the game fun; to that extent, we'll do what we can to give you plot you can build off of.

Since it's related to this plot, Gorgug is going to go to the hospital and have a walk around to see what security is like by just being his good ol' normal self. He'll actually ask Aurora if he can see her-- actually her, if it's possible, under the premise that he just wonders how she looks.

Is there another post with information on the different floors of the hospital that are accessible?

Also, is it fine to find the basement computer with all the intel on everyone during this mapping of the hospital? And does the information on the computer include characters that have since left Etraya?

Gorgug would explain he means where Aurora's data is stored on Etraya, if it is! Explaining that he's never met AI like her before, and is curious about what she looks like as a computer.

Thank you for the link and info!

Thanks! And would she give him permission to go down the lift sometime, or no? Not being pushy about it, but if she said he would need permission to go down, he would ask that.

He would just visit with her or a companion bot! His initial visit to the hospital to check it out to ask about Aurora's brain would be Gorgug on his own, just being curious. Nothing more!

He would thank her and/or the companion bot he's with.

Coming back to this with talking about the answers to Chrollo's player (and this will be shared to them). In regards to the servers on the fourth floor, if Gorgug sees them and asks about them, would Aurora tell him what they are?

If he came back another day and asked if he could take a look at them, would she let him? If he promised to be careful, since he doesn't want to destroy them. And he's happy to do so under her supervision or a companion bot's (since she would want him to have company anyway).

Aurora would note that it is data pertinent to them, but would not be able to give a more clear answer than that! From the way she talks around it, it's clear that it's not intentionally keeping secrets - she cannot directly state what is contained on them, just that it has player character data on it.

Aurora would allow him to look at whatever he would like to on the first several floors. If Gorgug tries to access the servers, she will note that this is not a recommended action, but she will not move to stop him or offer any reason why it is not recommended, just shake her head in response to any questions as to why and answer again with the same response: "It is not recommended". The files themselves will be hard to gain access to - they are heavily encrypted, and attempts to get passed the encryption will have Aurora begin to attempt to stop him from pulling the data. She will let him know that the data does not need to remain down here, and she will not physically prevent him from taking it, even if she will continue to repeat that it "it is not recommended" to access it.
